West Leeds residents are being urged to take advantage of a glut of fresh vegetables at a pay as you feel cafe today.
The folks at Armley Junk-tion cafe receives donations and intercepts good quality food otherwise destined for the rubbish tip.
Not only do they tackle food waste by providing meals, but they also sell any surplus produce – and are today encouraging west Leeds residents to take advantage of a glut of fresh vegetables they have on offer.

The benefits of pay as you feel (#PAYF) is that it’s a donation based on what you can afford and what you feel the food is worth. Those that cannot financially contribute are encouraged to give their time, effort, energy, resources and/or skills in return for the value of the meal or service received.
Armley Junktion is part of the Real Junk Food Project.
