Fancy a day out in Farsley to grab a bargain?
Householders in Farsley are preparing to host a giant yard sale in their own front gardens and driveways – and more villagers are being encouraged to get involved by organisers.
The event is aimed at bringing the community together and is organised by CRAFT –Calverley, Rodley and Farsley Together – arts collective.
Organisers said:
“Do you have a bunch of stuff you’ve been meaning to sell, piling up in the corner of the room? As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure – so get selling those old books, records, toys, plants and clothing etc.
“Nothing to sell, but love a good rummage? Or perhaps you fancy a day out to Farsley to grab yourself a bargain.”
The Farsley Yard Sale Trail is being held on Sunday, 17 July (10am-3pm). Stalls will be plotted on this interactive map:
Hosting a stall is free of charge, people can register here.

I filled in the form on line to take part in the Farsley Yard Sale but the end confused me matching the chimneys, so I’m not sure if it went through ok, could you let me know.
