More than 75 people gave bowls a go at a special open day at Stanningley Park Crown Green Bowling Club.
The event was part of a wider ‘Bowls Big Weekend’ event which also saw a number of platinum jubilee-themed fundraisers taking. place, including ‘name the corgi’ and a tombola stall.
One of the organisers, Alyssa Randell, was pleased with the turnout. She said:
“It was a great success, we had at least 75 people come by the club and everyone said how much they had enjoyed themselves.”
