A coffee morning and sale will help raise money towards a new eco/peace garden in Bramley on Saturday, 7 May 2022.
As previously reported by WLD, a small army of Bramley people aim to transform a church yard/garden into a eco-friendly green space. The idea is inspired by children who attend Trinity Methodist Church.
Book stall
A large and varied selection of second-hand books ranging from biographies to thrillers.
All the books will be offered for sale on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis.
There will also be a substantial number (well over 50) of collectable boys annuals dating from the 1960’s through to the 1990’s. Titles include Victor – Valiant – Action – Battle – Warlord and Hotspur.
The boys annuals will be priced to sell, varying from 25p to £1 depending upon condition.
Handbags and Gladrags! (scarves)
Another stall will have a comprehensive selection of scarves, varying in styles and including sarong type wraps and shawls. Again, offered on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis but with guide prices from 10p to £1
The handbags are all in as new condition and will perfectly compliment any outfit! ‘Pay as you feel’ with guide prices from 50p to £1.
The event is on Saturday, 7 May, from 10am to noon at Trinity Methodist Church in Bramley.
