Community event discusses latest Armley community housing plans

Leeds Community Homes is holding another community event to show how designs for community-led housing in Armley have progressed.

The latest event following residents’ input at a consultation event last month and will be held at Westerly Croft on Saturday 29th February between 10.30am and 2pm.

Spokesperson Lucy Meredith said:

“If you were not able to come down last time please feel free to come down and find out what it’s all about.”

Leeds Community Homes is planning to build 34 new homes along Mistress Lane in Armley. The organisation would also like to develop the greenspace around the site to benefit all the neighbours too.

There will be free refreshments and activities for kids at the event.

If you would like to be part of the steering group for a new community garden in the area, come along to the event or e-mail info@leedscommunityhomes.org.uk.
