Leeds-based comedian and panto star Billy Pearce has recorded a video message to thank staff looking after his mum at an Armley care home.
69-year-old Mr Pearce, who lives in Tingley, Tweeted a ‘thank you’ message to staff at Beech Hall Care Home in Far Fold Lane, Armley and NHS workers across the country.
In the video Mr Pearce sang ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ to staff and residents.
The care home tweeted Mr Pearce’s video and responded:

Mr Pearce replied:
“Thanks so much, I’m really missing seeing you all. I can’t tell you what a relief it is knowing how brilliantly my mum is being looked after, you guys are AMAZING.”
