School places debate at Bramley Forum

Are there enough school places in Bramley and Stanningley? Issues surrounding local school places will be discussed at a public meeting later this week.

The Bramley & Stanningley Ward Forum will be held at 7pm on Thursday, 26 November, at the Eric Atkinson Centre, Wellington Gardens in Bramley.

Members of staff from the school capacity planning team will be there to talk about how they are planning for enough school places in the area. There will also be the chance to learn more about the work of Bramley Elderly Action.

Representatives from West Yorkshire Police and the council’s Environmental Locality team will also be in attendance.

Councillor Caroline Gruen (Labour, Bramley and Stanningley), who is chairing the forum, said:

“I want to encourage all local residents to attend the ward forum, where people can socialise and raise important issues with their local councillors.
“Why not come along and find out more about what’s happening in the local Bramley, Stanningley and Rodley area.”
