This Saturday the Buffaloes head to New Earswick All Blacks in what promises to be a tensely fought match with both teams languishing at the bottom of the Yorkshire Premier Division, writes Martyn Cheney.
The Buffaloes ran title-chasing Bentley close in their last game while the All Blacks were defeated 46-10 at Lindley.
Both clubs share dynamic visions for the future, and this should ensure a healthy and respectful rivalry for many years to come. Even though both clubs have found the Premier Division a fierce and uncompromising league, both sides are looking to finish the season strongly and build for next season.
Coach travel is available to enjoy the scenic North Yorkshire Moors and hopefully a Buffaloes victory, leaving the Commercial at Armley at 12 noon.
Head Coach Steve Langton (Sponsored by Cheney Payroll Services) said:
“Four good training sessions with good numbers attending so we’re going with strength and confidence.”
Club Captain Brad Wilson (Sponsored by The Three Amigos) agreed:
“We’ve re-grouped and trained brilliantly and so want to finish the season strongly and by starting against New Earswick All Blacks on Saturday”
