Whether it’s your 4th birthday or your ’40-ish’ birthday, everyone is welcome at Bramley Junior parkrun.
Kenza Sahel has been long awaiting the day she can run with her daddy at junior parkrun. Today (Sunday) she celebrated her fourth birthday and completed her first parkrun. Her mum was supporting as a marshal.
Jackie Hall celebrated her ’40-ish’ birthday by being a volunteer timekeeper, ensuring every child receives an accurate finish time.
Children aged four to 14 years are welcome to run with or without their parent/guardian.
Children achieve milestones and wristbands once they’ve completed 11, 21, 50, 100 and 250 park runs.
People older are welcome to volunteer. Volunteers achieve a credit each time they volunteer working towards a volunteer milestone. T-shirts can be purchased for 25, 50,100, 250 and 500.
Please register at the parkrun website and print off your barcode. Bramley Junior parkrun is every Sunday morning starting at 9am in Bramley Park. More information by e-mailing bramley-juniors@parkrun.com.
