Armley: Swap stories of community heroism at Interplay Theatre

Interplay Theatre in Armley is putting on a play about people who’ve made a real difference in other people’s lives. HARRIET MEEUWISSEN-TRUE is appealing for your stories …

Who’s your hero? I don’t mean someone you’ve never met, someone you’ve only read about or seen on the TV. I mean the person on your street who makes everyone’s lives better. The person who saved your life, your day, or your bacon.

We’re gathering stories of everyday heroes, those people whose small actions make big differences. It might be someone who pulled your family from a fire. It might be someone who was there for you when times were hard.

Some of the stories we gather will form part of the show Tiny Heroes, which you can see at Interplay, Armley, just before Christmas, on 14th and 15th Decmeber.

But for now, we just want to meet and talk. Come along to Interplay on:

Wednesday 4th October – 1pm-3pm
Friday 27th October – 11am-1pm
Wednesday 8th October – 7pm-9pm

Our address is Interplay Theatre, Armley Ridge Road, Leeds, LS12 3LE

Drop in whenever you like, for as long as you like. We’ll give you a cup of tea and a biscuit. And let’s swap stories of heroism.
