An Armley pub is aiming to extend its outdoor seating area for customers.
The Travellers Rest has submitted plans to Leeds City Council to provide additional outside seating, a new timber framed pergola, new fixed seating booths and festoon lighting with support posts.
A planning statement said the proposals would use parts of the existing car park, resulting in a loss of four car parking spaces. It adds:
“This work is intended to improve the visual appearance of the premises, and the facilities offered to customers, and to help ensure the long-term viability of the business into the future.”
There are no alterations proposed to the interior of the pub, which is based on Hill Top Road.
