Armley Park and Swinnow Moor will play host to Breeze on Tour later this month, allowing thousands of young people to enjoy a host of exciting activities for free.
Breeze on Tour provides something for young people to enjoy during the summer holidays and has proved very popular in the past, attracting thousands of visitors.
Arts, crafts, multimedia workshops, inflatables and rock climbing are all available and suitable for children and young people up to the age of 19. There is a special area for children under the age of five.
The event is split into six different zones, art, challenge, info, sport, performance and play. Children can try their hands at building dens, getting creative with crafts and challenging friends at everything from rock climbing to pillow wars. There’s also a variety of sporting activities to try and a performance zone staging heats of Breeze has Talent.
West Leeds dates:
Tuesday 23rd August – Armley Park
Thursday 25th August – Swinnow Moor
Councillor Lisa Mulherin, executive member responsible for children and families, said:
“They are a fantastic opportunity for young people to have fun, try new things, get out with their friends and family and discover new interests, passions and talents for the future.
“Breeze is always busy and I know queues can be frustrating, so one way to cut your waiting time is to remember to bring your Breezecard for fast-track entry to the events. If you don’t have a Breezecard you can get one for free online.”
