Do you live or work in Armley? Would you like to hear more about local issues and services?
Armley Forum is meeting this week and the public meeting will see an update on the proposed road improvements to Armley Town Streert.
The £2.91m proposals aim to reduce bus delays whilst improving the street environment for visitors and shoppers with wider pavements, planting and landscaping and more crossing points to encourage active travel journeys. Plans include wider pavements to facilitate pedestrians and shoppers, better bus waiting areas and greenery, new cycling and walking links and a bus only section on Town Street.
Representatives from West Yorkshire Police and Leeds City Council’s housing department also usually speak at the forum.
The next Armley Forum is on Wednesday, 29 July in Armley Community Hub, from 7pm.
