Armley Forum meeting features rat-running, planning and Town Street updates

Traffic issues and initiatives to improve Armley Town Street will be discussed at the latest Armley Forum meeting.

The bi-monthly public meeting will see council planning officers provide an update on progress on planning applications at Theaker Lane and Conservative Club, Pickering Street/Armley Court and the Aviaries.

Residents will have the chance to raise issues with council highways officers about Armley Ridge Road, rat running on the Aviaries, ongoing work on the A647 and there will be a general update on the Armley Ward.

There will also be an update on Armley Town Street and the Armley Ambassadors scheme, with the latest on future events and projects from the Armley Action Team.

The Armley Forum, which is run by Leeds City Council, will be held on Tuesday 19 July, at 7pm in Armley Community Hub. Armley residents are cordially invited to attend.
