Friday 18th November is Training Day in Armley! writes Playful Leeds.
You might be wondering what great things you could entertain your children with, or be trying hard to juggle work and childcare?
Well fear not we’ve put together a fun, creative day of activities at the gorgeous Armley Mills Industrial Museum.
An exciting magical journey of the life of toys, explored through play, film, movement and Puppet Craft Making! Looking at past toys and modern toys!
(Circle time, free play, Toy Story Film, Puppets, Role Play and more)
- Where: Leeds Industrial Museum Armley Mills, Canal Road, LS12 2QF
- When: Friday 18th November 9.30am-4pm (you can collect children from 3.30pm)
- Who: Children aged 5 -11yrs
- Cost: £15.00 per child booked in advance. £18 pay on the door if there are spaces left
Children will need to bring a packed lunch, wear comfortable clothing and if they wish a toy they no longer play with to share on the day.
The day will be led by Susan Cunningham and Emma Upright, who both work at local primary schools in Armley. Both have enhanced DBS checks and with heaps of experience of creative play, dance and art with children and young people.
There are limited places so don’t dilly dally. Register your place now.
