Armley boys have small legs but big hearts for Ukrainian families

Two boys with big hearts have raised more than £1,500 by cycling 27 miles from Armley Park to Skipton.

Maverick, aged seven, from St Bartholomew’s School, and Jay, aged six, from Whingate Primary School, are raising funds to support a Ukrainian family one of their aunts has given refuge to in Poland.

The Armley youngsters have raised more than £1,500 between them.

They were joined on their trip by their mothers, which was apt given the ride took place on Mother’s Day.

Finish line: Celebrating in Skipton.

They started their ride at the new playground in Armley Park and finished with celebratory donuts in Skipton.

You can still support their appeal by going to their JustGiving page.
