Abbey Inn’s annual Beer and Music festival is taking place this weekend. The event is taking place for the first time since 2019 after having a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will offer a selection of over 100 beers, lagers and ciders as well as food and, new for this year, a spirits and fizz truck.
Alongside this there will be live music across the weekend including performances from Super Strutt, The Delta North and LS18 Rocks.
The festival will take place from Friday 1 July to Sunday 3 July, with bands starting to play at 6pm on the Friday, 2.30 pm on the Saturday and 1.30pm on the Sunday. As always the festival will be free to enter, but organisers ask that people donate to the festival’s charity St George’s Crypt.
St George’s Crypt is a Leeds-based organisation that offers care to people that are homeless, vulnerable people and people suffering from substance abuse. The charity provided 10,920 beds and 65,700 hot meals to people that needed them last year.
Over £600 was raised for the charity at the last Abbey Inn Beer and Music festival in 2019.
Abbey Inn is on Pollard Lane, Newlay.
