A new arrival on the West Leeds festival scene sees Wortley getting its own music festival and family fun day.
Headlined by Huw Eddy and the Carnival, a line up of live artists will play from 1pm to 10pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Sports gets a look in with five-a-side touch rugby from 11am to 1pm and a kids’ corner with inflatables and lots of family fun will be a major attraction.
Organiser Keir Breakwell said:
“Wortley seemed to be missing out on a major festival so we decided we should put it right. We saw what could be done by volunteers at last year’s Armley Festival and thought Wortley deserves a day like that.”
The event will be held at West Leeds RUFC, Bluehill Lane, Wortley, LS12 4NZ. Reserved tickets are £5 and unreserved £6. Entry for children under 12 is free when accompanied by an adult. Proceeds go to charity.

This year’s Armley Festival is on 22nd July from noon.
