Yorkshire Division Two leaders West Leeds RUFC will take their unbeaten league record into the game against Leeds-based promotion rivals Roundhegians, writes Glenn Broadbent.
The November 14 clash, which kicks off at 2.15pm, will be preceded by a buffet lunch for the Hegians committee.
Former pupils of West Leeds School are invited to join the School Old Boys’ Society members at the lunch and at the game. Entry to the game will be half price if a print out of this article is produced at the gate.
Old boys dinner
This will be the first of many events this year, with the old boys’ dinner neing held at the clubohouse, on Blue Hill Lane, Wortley, on 27 November. More details are available on the club’s website.
The following day rugby will again be the focus with West Leeds taking on Halifax-based Yorkshire Division One side Old Bodilians in the Yorkshire Shield.
Wests progressed to thsi stage by overcoming anouther Yorkshire One side York 53-10 in the last round.
