The council’s licensing department regulates activities that require a licence, such as selling alcohol, providing entertainment, event notices and taxi licence applications. They also ensure that licensed premises and individuals comply with the law and protect the public

Seems a healthy amount of local economic activity.
Sometimes I don’t listen to the national technocratic economic forecasts, like the ONS, I look to see how many plans and improvements and shops and house upgrades are taking place locally.
Lemme tell you cos we do the work so u don’t have to, Leeds is *thriving* compared to a lot of other British cities and places in Yorkshire, despite eveything. So lets keep a bit of Optimism marching on in our hearts, even if the world is changing is so many ways, we are still Leeds and we will be an economic champion; a’ do believe.

I keep most spelling and atrocious grammar errors because i merge english & Broad Yorkshire, and also i like to think its a small sign to readers thag Its okay to make mistakes, its okay to not be 100% correct, people are human we make mistskes, and to not write rite n spell tha’h well .
I could be dyslexic or autistic for all tha’nos, and youd be more embaressed than Rachel Reeves facing an increasingly concerned and baffled media.-
