West Leeds: Brown bin collections restart

Fortnightly brown bin collections for garden waste start again in West Leeds on Monday, 29 February, and continue until 3 December

Collection days are the same as last year. To check your bin day and download a calendar, visit www.leeds.gov.uk/mybinday.

The council is asking residents to put your bin out before 7am on your collection day and put it away again as soon as possible after it has been emptied.

Brown bins can be used for:

  • Flowers and plants
  • Grass cuttings
  • Hedge clippings
  • Leaves
  • Twigs/small branches
  • Windfall fruit
  • Weeds

For further brown bin information, visit the council website.
