TaleGate Theatre Productions are returning to Kirkstall Abbey this October with their ‘spook-macular’ Hallowe’en parody pantomime ‘Harry Panto’.
The enchanting ‘Harry Potter’ parody sees the audience help young magicians fight the dark lord in a spellbinding tale of good versus evil. Magical illusions, pop songs and things that go bump in the night all form the essential ingredients of the panto, which is aimed at young and old.
Gates will open 45 minutes before show time for an interactive pre-show with your chance to meet the students of Frogwarts. This production will go ahead come rain or shine – so be sure to wrap up warm and have an umbrella handy!
“Like any good pantomime, there are songs to bop along to,” says TaleGate’s Artistic Director, James Worthington. “It’s really got something for everyone. It’s not just for wizard fans – it’s a proper Halloween show so we encompass the spirit of Halloween. There’s even trick or treating in the show!”
Harry Panto will be flying to Kirkstall Abbey this October and audiences may remember TaleGate Theatre Productions from their debut at Kirkstall Abbey this Summer where hundreds of families joined them in the beautiful surroundings of the sunny cloisters for three weeks of fun with ‘Panto At The Abbey’.
