Horsforth Climate Action is appealing for volunteers to help develop a research and develop a nature corridor in the town.
WLD reported last month that Horsforth Climate Action has received funding to research and develop a nature corridor running through Horsforth, from Hunger Hills Woods to Low Lane Recreation Ground.
Volunteers at Horsforth Climate Action (HCA) say ‘hard work continues on the project. However, we will really get going in the new year’.Â
HCA needs help with:
- planningÂ
- how to gather informationÂ
- running events and activities
- working to develop an updated nature corridor.Â
The proposed corridor is likely to run from Hunger Hills Woods, past Horsforth School and St Margaret’s Church, across Long Row onto Broadgate Lane (past Broadgate School and St Mary’s School), onto Low Lane and then onto Low Lane Recreation Ground.
