New Wortley Community Centre is a community-owned and community-led centre. The centre opened in 1982 and is managed by New Wortley Community Association, a membership group of people that work to improve the area of and lives of residents living in LS12, in New Wortley and the wider Armley ward.

New Wortley Community Centre has lots on offer, including: health & wellbeing support, food & hygiene Support, employment support, volunteering opportunities, community cafe and external catering services, laundry service, training, courses & workshops, activities & events and community Groups. As well as healthy holidays programme and youth clubs & activities and our new charity shop.
