Christmas lights switch ons in Armley, Bramley and Kirkstall, community festivals and youth projects are among could be awarded Leeds City Council funding.
Councillors on the Inner West Community Committee will meet next week to decide the latest grants to community projects in the area.
Dozens of grant funding applications from youth and community groups, skip hire, CCTV and community projects will be considered by councillors.
The Inner West Community Committee covers Armley, Bramley & Stanningley and Kirkstall Wards. Applications include:
Wortley Football Club – £1,000
Wortley FC are seeking funding to buy materials for joinery, electrical, plumbing, plastering, flooring and decorating to complete the interiors of the building.
Fairfield Family Cookery Club, Bramley – £5,634
Flourishing Families would like to run a family cookery club as part of the Bramley Our Place partnership. The club will help address poor diet, nutrition and obesity in the area.
A Midsummer Night’s Showcase in Bramley Park – £500
Pop up performances for a Midsummer Night’s Dream in Bramley Park on Saturday 4th July 2020, Bramley Park, 2pm & 5pm.
Samba Drumming Sessions – £9,000
Run by Rock School UK.
Community Festivals in Armley, Bramley and Kirkstall 2020
£5,000 for Armley, £4,000 for Bramley and £5,000 for Kirkstall festivals.

Armley (£2,530), Bramley & Stanningley (£1,752).
