Sculpture unveiling delayed again
Meanwhile the launch of a sculpture celebrating Stanningley’s industrial past at Belgrave Retail Park has been postponed for a second time.
The artwork was originally due to be unveiled in February to coincide with the opening of the retail park.
Apparently there are problems with the groundworks, which has meant the sculpture cannot be installed at present. A full investigation is now pending, but it’s understood it will be some weeks before the issues are resolved.
You mean the roundabout outside of Lidl will be closed. Aldi is in Bramley.
Thanks for flagging Tom, you’re quite right, we somehow managed to get both in the article! Have now corrected.
