Santa will be taking to the streets of Farsley on Thursday 14 December to once again raise funds and collect door-to-door food donations for a West Leeds food bank!
This year Grumpy’s Bar + Pizza will be raising money for Pudsey Community Project; a local charitable organisation started from Pudsey Parish Church to provide community, youth and poverty resources for Pudsey and the immediately surrounding areas.
If you would like to support this year’s Christmas Appeal you can kindly donate any amount you can online in advance to Pudsey Community Project via Grumpy’s Give As You Live fundraising page.
Leading up to the event you can also drop non-perishable food off at Farsley Celtic Football Club’s collection at their home game on Tuesday 12 December, or any day from 5pm at their clubhouse.
Or join them from your door steps on the evening of the 14 December to hand Santa your tinned and packaged goods as he passes by with his parade of Christmas Lanterns.
Plus, if you enter Grumpy’s online competition before 11 December you could win a magically festive prize for your little ones; Santa could stop off at your house on his tour of Farsley to hand them gifts from his magical, light up sleigh!
Last year Grumpy’s and their co-organiser, Alaina of Baere Accessories, were joined by several volunteers on the night including Farsley Scaffolding who helped to collect two car loads of food donations. Their 2022 campaign also secured over £1,300 in online donations, which the team hope to surpass this year with the help of the community!
