Santa’s elves have once again prepped his sleigh, ready for the third year of the Santa sleigh drive around Farnley and Wortley.
Co-ordinated by Farnley Community Centre on Cross Lane in Farnley, they have once again set up for Santa to drive around the ward over two evenings this coming weekend.
Farnley will see the first night of the visit on Saturday, 9 December, followed by Wortley on Sunday, 10 December, each of the drives will depart at 5.30pmand will go on until around 8.30pm, with various stop offs along the way to grab a surprise and to take a picture or two.
So, please come out and see Santa and his Elves, enjoy the music, and see if Santa has any treats in his magical Christmas sack.
The links for each of the routes can be found below along with an estimation of the times that Santa will be there, although if you visit Farnley Community Centre’s Facebook page on the evening there will be a live stream providing updates on where Santa is.
The giving doesn’t stop there though as Farnley Community Centre will also once again be hosting their free Christmas Family Day on Sunday, 17 December. As part of the day Santa will be welcoming children (young, old and adults alike), into his grotto with a gift for all the kiddies that come along. There will be activities, music, refreshments, and a lucky dip for the kids.
This will be hosted on Sunday, 17 December 12.30pm-3.30pm and there is no need to book and is open to everyone to come along to and enjoy.
