Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire at The Royal Hotel in Armley Town Street last night.
Appliances from Leeds, Hunslet, Stanningley and Stanks were called to the blaze, which is believed to have started in the attic of the pub at just after 10pm. No-one was hurt during the incident.

I have it on good authority that #Armley ‘s flagship battlecruiser, The Royal, is on fire. And I’m not talking disco dancing.
