The owners of The Horsforth pub have been granted planning permission to replace its existing signs.
Greene King had applied to Leeds City Council to install replacement signs at the pub in Featherbank Lane.
Plans included two externally illuminated fascia signs, one illuminated post mounted pictorial sign, one illuminated new corex panel to existing posts, one set of of non-illuminated sign written letters and one non illuminated ‘welcome’ sign.
A council planning officer’s report approving the application stated: “On balance, it is considered that the signage scheme is of an appropriate design, size and number which will not have a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the building or streetscene and will preserve the special character of the conservation area.”
