Pudsey Parish Church (St Lawrence and St Paul) will have a new vicar on Monday evening, as the Reverend Richard Dimery is instituted by Bishop of Richmond, Paul Slater.
Rev Dimery’s predecessor as vicar, Paul Ayers, will be taking part of the service in his role as the Archdeacon of Leeds.
Rev Dimery has been Vicar of St James Woodside, in Horsforth, for nearly ten years and is moving to Pudsey with his wife, Sarah, and their three children. Before his time at Woodside, he worked at St George’s in Leeds and then as Curate at Christ Church, Armley.
The service of “Institution and Induction” will take place at the church at 7.30pm on Monday, November 13th.
There will be a finger buffet following the service, all are welcome to stay for this.
