Improved changing rooms are helping people to stay fit at Pudsey Leisure Centre.
The new facilities give residents a great place to get changed so that they can undertake the range of activities available at the centre.
A number of new activities have started recently such as Studio Cycling, Kettlebells and Walking Football. All of which are proving to be very popular.
Councillor Mick Coulson (Labour, Pudsey) said:
“Having a nice place to get changed seems like a little thing, but it can make all the difference enticing people to come in to the centre.
“These excellent new facilities are really welcoming and give people a great place to get changed for the many activities offered here. There is something for everyone and all the activities will help people get fit.
“The next step is improve the Studio Cycling facilities so that they have their own area. As ward members we are looking to use some of our funds to make sure this can be a great space.
“So, if you haven’t been to the Leisure Centre for a while, why not give it a go?”
