Pudsey development pitches to first-time buyers at former Wood Mitchell site

An open day will showcase new homes at Britannia Gardens – the site of the former Wood Mitchell business in Pudsey.

The Pudsey contractor, which provided services including shopfitting and joinery, shut down in 2015 with the loss of 70 jobs.

Britannia Gardens is a cluster of 12 new two-bedroom mews-style homes between Intake Road and Hough Side Road, near The Britannia pub. The scheme is aimed at the first time buyers’ market offering a selection of starter homes priced from £179,999.

Gregory Residential, a part of Gregory Property Group, is building all 12 homes and expects to complete them later this month. A show home is available to view.

Andrew Foggitt, Director at Gregory Property Group said,

“Public transport and access to the city centre makes it ideal for young professionals with their first venture onto the property ladder. We are pleased to announce an open day this weekend where visitors can view inside the properties and discuss options with our team.”
