Pudsey community garden allows you to connect with nature

By Susan Johnson

It is a well-known fact that being in touch with nature is beneficial not only for our physical health but more importantly our mental health and well-being.

Living in a city inhibits our direct contact with the natural world, but projects do exist where nature can become part of our lives.

One such project is the Community Garden outside Pudsey Wellbeing Centre in Robin Lane, Pudsey. Here volunteers can get hands on with cultivating flowers and vegetables.

The raised beds are waiting, the seed bank is bursting, all tools provided we just need a bit more help. Children are welcome under supervision, they’ll love it !

If this interests you and you have a couple of hours to spare each week they would be very pleased to hear from you. After a stint in the garden you will always be welcome to have a cup of tea and a chat with like-minded people.

Either phone Jane on 0113 4579817 or email hello@pudseywellbeing.com.
