A busy road from Pudsey town centre is set to close to allow resurfacing work to be carried out.
Council highways officials have written to residents in the Church Lane area to warn them that the road will be closed for three Sundays from June 26, between 7.30am-6pm. A signed diversion will be put in place from the affected stretch from the Market Place up to Radcliffe Lane.
Work will start during the week from Tuesday 21 June until Friday 25 June from 9.30am-3.30pm. The road will be open during these times but a temporary two-way traffic light will be in place.
The temporary light is likely to lead to traffic delays in the area.
Pedestrian access along Church Lane will be available at all times.
