Residents concerned about the impact of match day parking around Headingley Carnegie Stadium can attend a public meeting to put their views to representatives from both Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire Cricket Club.
The issues, which affect parts of Burley and Kirkstall, will be discussed at 6pm on Wednesday, 11 October 2023 at the stadium café. Everyone who lives or works nearby is welcome.
The meeting will discuss concerns about the impact on local streets on match days, problems with litter and anti-social behaviour and issues with other major events at the stadium.
Residents complaining about parking on match days…Isn’t this a bit like those who buy houses close to the airport then join campaign complaining about the noise.
Who knew!!
No it’s a bit like people getting more inconsiderate with their parking. Parking on double yellows or parking on pavements making it dangerous for pedestrians. Does that make more sense now?
This is an enforcement issue. Any cars illegally parked or blocking driveways should be ticketed or towed. Every one. Every time.
