Project Farsley launches the Farsley Mural Project crowdfunder

By Jo Reilly

Big and exciting things are coming to Farsley and volunteers from Project Farsley love your help to make them happen.

The community project wants to continue to transform Farsley’s streets with vibrant colours, creativity, and community pride by establishing more new murals via the Farsley Mural Project.

The Farsley Mural Project crowdfunder has launched today to help bring this vision to life.

A spokesperson said: “You can help us raise money in exchange for a range of exciting incentives including Workshops and fun Farsley merchandise (great for gifts!)”

Project Farsley is a community arts collective based in Farsley, led by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who give their time for free.

It has been responsible for some of the local landmarks you have all come to love, such as the ‘Stamp Mural’ on Croft St, the Sheep Sculptures at Sunnybank Mills, and the annual Farsley Yard Sale.

The crowdfunder can be found here.

  1. Well it’s over 50 years now since Farsley became part of Leeds, but some obviously haven’t ” got over it” yet
Perhaps it puts it’s revival in recent years down to it’s proximity to Bradford. ……and nothing to do with “aspirationals/ creatives” moving in cos property is cheaper than Horsforth etc!
