Bosses at The Horsforth are welcoming customers back following a six-figure refurbishment.
The Greene King pub on Featherbank Lane, known as ‘The Friendly’ amongst locals, is sporting a modernised look and feel inside and out.
The pub’s kerb appeal has been boosted with new signage, festoon lighting, decking and furniture outside. Inside there are clearly defined bar, sports and dining zones, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment for all to enjoy whatever the occasion.
As well as new décor throughout there has been a full upgrade to the toilets. The sports offering has been improved with additional TVs inside and out to make the most of live Sky Sports and TNT Sports fixtures.
Following the official reopening on Monday (November 21) Amy Johnson, general manager of The Horsforth, said: “The Friendly has really upped its game and we love the new look and feel here.
“There is a brilliant atmosphere as customers can pick and choose where they want to sit according to the occasion – whether it is for a quick drink, to watch a match or enjoy a special meal out.”
