Police have released the latest image of a bike seized as part of their continuing to crack down on nuisance bikers in Calverley.
Problems with the anti-social use of bikes around the Calverley have been highlighted as a major problem with police last year launching a number of operations to try tackle the problem.
Officers from the Leeds District Off-Road Bike Team were out in the Calverley area following reports of anti social use of bikes just before Christmas. It didn’t take them long to stop this bike with two males on it. It was seized under section 59 powers.
Section 59 was brought in by the Government to target ‘vehicles used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance’.
