Police are appealing for information following what is believed to be a shooting on Cockshott Lane, Armley.
Two men aged 32 and 25 received minor injuries following what is believed to be a firearm being discharged at a barbers’ shop between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday.
Damage was caused to the shop window and the two men were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
Detective Inspector Seth Robinson of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team said:
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around Cockshott Lane on Wednesday evening and may have seen or heard anything suspicious, or who may have any information, to come forward.
“I would seek to reassure the community that this appears to be an isolated incident. Increased neighbourhood patrols are ongoing in the area.”
