New Farnley Community Centre was the hub of this year’s activities, with 20 local homes and businesses displaying their own efforts. Ivor Hughes visited on the Saturday, just as the winning villager was being announced:

Calling time. The area in front of New Farnley Community Centre was full of displays.
DIY pumpkins in the hall.
The nearby Co-op store was in on the action.
Indoors on the community centre walls.
