A Pudsey-based estate and letting agents has show its support for Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club by sponsoring the club’s scorebox.
Property specialists Linley and Simpson have announced their sponsorship – and the striking blue fascia is a huge change from the traditional black and white scorebox.
Club Secretary, Richard Brown said:
“While planning the new one, the idea of offering sponsorship on the most viewed focal point in the ground came up.
“Linley & Simpson were quick to take us up on the idea, even more so when it was mentioned to change the colours.
“Hopefully, the refurbishment and upgrade of scoring technology will serve both players and spectators for many years to come.”
Rebecca Taylor, Branch Manager of Linley & Simpson’s branch in Pudsey said:
“We’ve worked with Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club since 2019, when we first sponsored their bonfire night. We’re always trying to involve ourselves with the local community as much as we can and we are delighted to be able to give our support again by sponsoring the scorebox, especially after the challenges the club has faced following the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The club also have access to our Give Back Scheme, whereby any person that is associated with the club that sells or lets a property through us, the club will receive £250. The aim of the scheme is to drive as many funds back into the club as possible.
“We are hoping to work with the club further this year to sponsor more events and build our relationship with the local community.”
