Olympic kit design contest inspires Pudsey’s Next-Gen Creatives

With the Paris 2024 Olympics just around the corner, Owlcotes Retail Park is inviting the Pudsey community to showcase their creativity by designing an Olympic kit fit for the world’s best athletes. This exciting competition aims to inspire and provide a platform for the next generation of local creatives.

Running until the 14th August, the competition is open to under 18s, with schools encouraged to join in the fun. Participants can easily enter by downloading the “Olympic Kit Template” online and submitting their designs through the dedicated competition posts on Owlcotes’ Facebook and Instagram pages or via post.

Judges will be looking for creativity and practicality, encouraging participants to focus on design aesthetics as well as the suitability and sustainability of the materials used for the kits.

Three medal-worthy designs will be chosen. The gold winner will receive a signed and framed Sir Mo Farah GB running vest complete with a certificate of authenticity. The silver and bronze winners will receive exciting Olympic-themed prize bundles from Owlcotes’ stores.

“We are incredibly excited to launch this competition and give local talent a stage to shine,” said a representative from Owlcotes Shopping Centre. “We believe that this initiative will foster a love of sport and design, and bring the community together in a shared goal.”

After the competition concludes, the winning designs will be proudly showcased on Owlcotes’ social media channels.
