Plans for a new dog exercise park in Calverley have been submitted to Leeds City Council.
Applicant Nikki Goodall wants to use an area of land at the rear of Annexe Carr Farm Cottage, on Carr Road, as an outdoor pet recreation and exercise facility.
She wants to create a paddock area surrounded by trees and bounded by woodland to the north, stone wall (to east and west and stable block to the south. She intends to enclose the area with rustic wooden post and rail fencing (with wire mesh infill) in keeping with the conservation area and surrounding listed buildings.
It is proposed to fence the woodland area approximately two metres south of its boundary with Clara Drive to hide the fence amongst the trees. Additional saplings will be added along the fence line to further disguise it.
Access would via the property’s private driveway.
More details of the plans are available here.
As a resident on Clara Drive, and dog lover, I’m opposed to this facility. It will bring noise, more People and traffic to the area. No thank you.
Clara drive has been so busy these days, increased traffic driving fast, rubbish left. Lets protection this beatiful area. We object to this.
