Plans to transform an office block off Stanningley Road into a dozen flats have been sunmitted by developers.
Applicant Noreen Khan wants to change the use of the office building and turn it into 11 one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment. Parking would be in the forecourt area.
A report submitted with the application concludes:
“The proposed development is situated in a highly sustainable location with a range of key facilities and services available within a 2km walking catchment area.
“Those destinations situated further afield can be accessed by the bus services that run along Stanningley Road and direct access to Bramley Railway Station within a short walking distance.
“In conclusion, the proposals would not result in any detrimental highways impact on capacity or road safety and therefore there are no traffic or transportation reasons preventing granting of planning permission for the development proposals.”
