A burglar who targeted a care home housing elderly and vulnerable people has been jailed for a string of offences in Pudsey and Bramley.
Christopher Clough, 48, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four years in prison after admitting one count of burglary and seven attempted burglaries.

In the early hours of 22 June 2025, Clough went into a care home in Pudsey where he was captured on CCTV trying various doors before gaining entry to one of the rooms.
He picked up a vase before being disturbed and making off over a fence.
A local PCSO identified the suspect as Clough and he was then linked to a string of attempt burglary offences in the next two weeks, where he was seen trying to gain access to multiple addresses in the Pudsey and Bramley areas while wearing a face covering.
Officers from the Leeds District Crime Team successfully located him and linked him to the offences via CCTV and doorbell footage.
On 22 August, Clough was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court to four years in prison.

Detective Sergeant Seb Horan from the Leeds District Crime team said: “We welcome the sentence passed down to Clough for a series of crimes which I know caused considerable concern in the local area.
“I hope this sentence provides some reassurance to people in Bramley and Pudsey that a prolific offender has been taken off the streets.
“Knowing somebody has entered or tried to enter the place you should expect to feel safe is a distressing experience and we will always take reports of this nature seriously.
“I would encourage anyone who has information about burglary offending in their area to contact us so that we can take action.”
