Mallard Duck struck and killed by trolley in Kirkstall – can you help?


A mallard duck has been struck and killed by a shopping trolley which was thrown into a stream at Savins Mill Way in Kirkstall, writes Keely Bannister.

The incident is believed to have happened sometime over the weekend of Saturday 13th July and Sunday 14th July.

This was the same weekend that Kirkstall Festival was held. 

The incident was reported on the West Yorkshire Police – Wildlife & Rural Crime Facebook page.

Paula Hobson commented on Facebook:

“Some vile low life in this sorry world.”
