Labour’s Alex Sobel won the new Leeds Central & Headingley seat at the 2024 General Election.
Mr Sobel received 15,853 votes, compared to runner up Chris Foren, who received 7,431 votes for the Green Party.

Following last year’s boundary changes, voters living in Kirkstall and Burley now vote in Leeds Central and Headingley, rather than the old Leeds West Constituency.

Turnout was 45 per cent, from an electorate of 70,554.
