The number 9 and 9a Ring Road bus services are due to be reduced as part of a raft of changes to West Leeds buses in mid February.
The weekday half-hourly service between Pudsey and the White Rose Centre was only introduced in October, but will be reduced to hourly from February 17 ‘due to lack of sufficient use’.
The number 9 Saturday service from White Rose Centre to Seacroft, run by Square Peg, will be withdrawn from 20th February.
A Metro spokesperson said:
“West Yorkshire Combined Authority are looking at ways to support a replacementm which is subject to finalising costs and business case. Details will be available on our website in the coming weeks.”
Timetable changes will also be made to the numbers 4, 16, 33, 42, 49, 72, 205 and 508 ‘mainly to improve punctuality’.
Details will be available online from 5 February.
