Kirkstall Singers take to the streets with carols – and a charity mission

By Maggie Sheen

Yes, it’s that time of year, and the Kirkstall Singers are yet again primed and ready to bring festive joy to neighbourhood streets on Sunday, 18 December 2022!

Kirkstall Singers are an ad hoc /pop-up choir who seasonally sing acapella traditional carols in aid of members’ chosen charity.

Last year they were able to collect over £270 for Leeds Homeless Street Angels, and this year they hope to better that sum!

You are most welcome to join them: Singers start at 4.30pm at Raynville Superstore, continuing around the streets and finishing up at The Bridge Inn for well-earned refreshment at 6.15pm – skilfully avoiding a certain soccer event, just in case any interest in the outcome should remain!

Here’s a full itinerary:

We all look forward to seeing you… And a Happy Christmas to All!
